Things to do near London Bridge

The London Bridge area is on the south bank of the Thames and situated between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. You may be forgiven for thinking that a good deal of the location is taken up by the London Bridge train station and rail network, but there is a lot to do and see in this fascinating part of London.

The London Bridge Experience

For added interest there is also an Escape Room, the award winning scary London Tombs and so much more to the experience.

Old Operating Theatre Museum

Admittance is via a 52 step spiral staircase.

HMS Belfast in War and Peace

A floating museum that served as Europe’s largest WWII cruiser, the landmark navy ship tells her story from her inception in the 1930’s to how she was saved for the British nation in 1971.

St Magnus the Martyr’s Church

The Church is on the north side of the bridge on Lower Thames Street, the bridge itself is a joy to walk across, to feel the cool breeze from the water and take in the sights as you cross. The reason this Church is specifically selected is twofold; it has a beautifully created model of the Medieval London Bridge just inside the door that gives an account of the old style engineering and the bustling medieval London. The Church also has the pedestrian access archway to the original London Bridge in its tower.
